TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

1. Overview

This website is operated throughout by Bay Area Transparency. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bay Area Transparency. We offer this website, including all information, video libraries, digital subscriptions, merchandise, and "Learn Your Rights" seminars conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies stated here.

2. Subscription Tiers & Voluntary Monthly Contributions

  • Access Requirements: Access to our private digital video library is available strictly via a recurring monthly subscription model.
  • Minimum Base Rate: The baseline cost for site access is a minimum of $5.00 USD per month, automatically billed every 30 days.
  • Voluntary Contributions: Subscribers are provided the clear option to voluntarily select a higher monthly payment tier to support our independent media operations.
  • No Additional Consideration: Choosing a higher monthly contribution level is entirely voluntary. It grants the subscriber the exact same level of site access as the baseline rate. No additional goods, exclusive physical services, premium access, or special commercial considerations are implied, promised, or delivered for higher contribution amounts.

3. "Learn Your Rights" Digital Seminars

  • Service Delivery: Seminars are live or pre-recorded digital broadcasts pre-ordered by attendees and delivered via external video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom).
  • No Legal Advice: All content delivered via our seminars, video library, or text is for educational, journalistic, and informational purposes regarding civic and constitutional rights. Nothing hosted on this platform constitutes formal legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.

4. Customer Support Communication Policy

  • Email Communication Only: To ensure efficient administrative tracking and secure record-keeping, all customer service requests, technical assistance inquiries, and account updates must be conducted strictly via email.
  • Official Support Email: [email protected]
  • No Public Telephone Support: We do not operate a public customer service telephone line for user support. Any phone numbers found associated with regulatory business filings are for internal banking and corporate compliance only. Telephone inquiries regarding customer website accounts will not be answered.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. Digital Subscriptions (Site Access)

  • Strict No-Refund Policy: All monthly subscription fees and voluntary contributions are 100% non-refundable. Because digital access to our protected video library is granted immediately upon a successful transaction, we do not issue pro-rated refunds, partial credits, or retroactive returns for any unused portions of a billing cycle.
  • Cancellation Terms: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your user dashboard settings. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled automatic renewal date. Following cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of your current 30-day paid billing period, at which point your card will no longer be charged.

2. "Learn Your Rights" Seminars (Pre-Orders & Cancellations)

  • Pre-Paid Events: Admission to our "Learn Your Rights" digital seminars requires advanced registration and pre payment. All sales are final and non-refundable if missed by the attendee.
  • Event Cancellation Policy: In the event that a scheduled seminar is cancelled or permanently postponed by Bay Area Transparency for any reason—excluding an Act of God or unforeseen force majeure events outside our control (e.g., widespread grid failures, natural disasters)—a 100% full refund of the purchase price will automatically be issued back to the purchaser's original payment method within 7– 10 business days of the cancellation notice.

3. Branded Merchandise (Print-On-Demand)

  • Fulfilled by Printful: All physical merchandise purchases are custom-printed on demand and fulfilled via our production partner, Printful.com.
  • Damaged or Defective Items: Any claims for misprinted, damaged, or defective merchandise must be submitted strictly within 30 days after the product has been received.
  • How to Claim: If your item arrives damaged, do not return it to our corporate mail address. Email us at [email protected] with your order number and clear photographic proof of the defect. We will coordinate directly with Printful to issue a replacement product or store credit under Printful’s standard terms of service.
  • Buyer’s Remorse: Because items are custom-made on demand, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for exchanges, sizing mistakes, or general buyer's remorse.
